Archival Fine Art Prints

Prints of Lisa's paintings are not color laser copies nor are they standard ink-jet prints. These printing methods tend to fade in just a few years depending on factors like exposure to light and the quality of the inks used. Since hopefully you want to view your print(s) for many years to come so that is just not an option!

Our Giclée prints are custom made when your order is placed so there is no worry that they've been "sitting around" fading and collecting dust. Special pigment inks and paper stock are of archival quality. The manufacturer of both these and the printer promises a longevity of 200+ years and that they are “worthy of museum display". Combine that with ultra-fine print heads, an eight ink printing process and meticulous scans from a high-end, large format scanner, and you can be assured of stunning reproductions. The term Giclée (”ji-clay”) is a French word meaning "sprayed ink", referring to fine art prints made using an ink-jet process that produces no dot pattern. This arguably offers the highest degree of accuracy and richness of the color palate of all the reproduction techniques available today.

Signed & Numbered Limited Editions

LIsa Hunt Art creates only 150 copies of each the 8.5"x11" signed and numbered prints. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with each print and both are signed and numbered by Lisa. When the end of the print run is reached, no further signed and numbered limited editions will be offered in that size for that painting. Open editions are also available and can be printed anywhere from 4"x6" to 13"x19". These are also signed by Lisa. All prints are shrink-wrapped in plastic on a hard board to protect them during shipping.
